Guitar Wiring Repair & Mods in Redding, CA
Broken wires, cold solder joints, rewires, and mods like coil splits, 50s wiring, and treble bleeds.
Most guitar electrical problems come down to wiring: a broken ground, a cold solder joint, or a wire that came loose. Those cause hum, crackles, cut outs, and dead pickups, and they’re usually quick to find and fix.
We also do mods. Coil splits, series and parallel, phase switches, 50s wiring, treble bleeds, master volume and tone setups, and rewiring the selector so you get the sounds you want. If you have a prewired harness or caps you want to try, we’ll install them.
If a previous owner left the cavity a mess, a clean rewire or full harness replacement makes the guitar reliable again.
Bring it in and tell us what it’s doing or what sound you want. Simple fixes are quick, and we’ll quote bigger mods after a look.
