Guitar Volume & Tone Pot Repair in Redding, CA
Scratchy, loose, or dead volume and tone knobs, plus push-pulls, blend pots, and new knobs.
Volume and tone controls get turned thousands of times. Dust and wear make them scratchy, loose pots spin and twist wires, and worn ones cut out or stop doing anything at all.
Most pot fixes are quick. We clean what can be cleaned, replace what’s worn out, and tighten everything so it stays put. If you want more from your controls, we can add push-pull or push-push pots for extra sounds, blend pots for basses, stacked Jazz Bass knobs, or change pot values and tapers so the knobs feel right.
New knobs too: speed knobs, dome knobs, set screw knobs, and the right fit for split or solid shafts.
Bring it in and tell us what the knobs are doing. We’ll get them quiet and working right, usually in a day or two.
