Guitar Conversions & Restoration in Redding, CA
Lefty, baritone, and short-scale conversions, back-to-stock swaps, and getting old guitars playing again.
Sometimes a guitar needs to become something else. A left-handed player finds a great right-handed guitar, a player wants baritone range, or someone wants a shorter scale that’s easier to reach. We handle the nut, saddle, string, and setup changes to make a conversion play right.
Going the other direction, we swap modded guitars back to stock parts, often before a sale, and reinstall original vintage pickups and hardware so they work properly.
If you’ve got an old guitar from the attic, the garage, or a pawn shop, we’ll look it over and tell you what it takes to get it playing again. Conversions and restorations are quoted after a look. Bring it in to the shop on Redcliff Drive.
